Gabion mesh is made of multiple hot-dip galvanized wires or PVC-coated iron wires woven by a machine. This product is a cage type and can hold many stones inside. How is gabion net construction carried out?
In one step, assemble and lay the combined cage.
1. The distance between the combined cage and the mesh body is 90°, and then enter the binding process to assemble and tie the cage.
2. When assembling the cage, the combination wire, spiral fixation and horizontal tension wire used for binding must be made of the same material as the mesh wire.
3. When assembling the cage, the combined wire binding must be twisted with double strands, and the spiral combined wire binding must be twisted and tightened.
4. The assembled cages must be installed in sequence according to the orientation shown in the design diagram.
5. For the mesh in the exposed position of the cage, it is necessary to set up horizontal tension wires. The horizontal and vertical distances are 25cm-35cm. The meshes facing the pattern in an 8-shaped shape are connected and tightened. The tension wires are filled in each layer. Set up after the stone construction is completed.
The second step is to fill the net inwards.
1. When filling cages, materials must be fed into each cage sequentially, evenly, and in batches. It is prohibited to fill a single cage at one time.
2. When constructing with artificial filler, the thickness of each batch of materials must be controlled below 35cm.
3. When using mechanized filler construction, it is necessary to control the even feeding of materials in a 1m-high cage.
4. After each batch of materials is fed, fill the pores with small gravel blocks and ensure the uniformity of the stones and the density of the structural filler.
5. The filling capacity of the mesh inward is mainly greater than 1.7 tons/mm3.
Three steps, cage sealing construction
1. Before sealing, it is necessary to pave and level the filling material on the top.
2. Covering clips should be used to fix the frame lines of adjacent unit groups before binding.
3. The cover sheet and the top frame line of the cage must be tied with spiral combination wire.
